Workplace Observation & Review

The Neutral Zone will observe and shadow your nominated teams, followed by a comprehensive report outlining areas of risk and recommended solutions.

When carrying out a comprehensive review, many adjustments can occur on-the-spot. We train your staff members in the correct measurements for their devices so they can maintain the correct set-up.

We further implement a strategy by which your organisation can maintain staff engagement and increase awareness of injury prevention techniques throughout the business.

Workstation Assessments & Adjustments

An on-site review carried out by qualified physiotherapists trained to spot workstation set-ups which creep outside The Neutral Zone. Each review is followed by a report, including recommendations for each individual staff member.

We welcome a collaborative approach to improving the ergonomic functions within your organisation. We understand the benefit of moulding the functional movement outcomes into a system that works with your business culture.

Overall these solutions will allow an opportunity for increased awareness of, and engagement in, safe ergonomic practices in your business.

Workplace Presentations

Pain and discomfort are known to influence both workplace wellbeing and performance. An interactive and interesting seminar is a great way to engage staff and help them embrace the philosophy of keeping their bodies safe and injury free.

We offer a verbal presentation, complete with visual slides and hand-outs, on all things ergonomic. Demonstration of correct ergonomic protocol is included, and all attendees are given the opportunity to practice these movements under the watchful eye of our fully qualified physiotherapist.

Each seminar is tailored to your business and your industry.

Staff Training

From heavy lifting to correct vehicle posture, good ergonomic approaches are essential.

A protocol which ensures your staff apply ergonomic movements when lifting heavy items or using heavy machinery may help them avoid pain and discomfort, raise employee awareness and increase engagement.  This may lift employee morale and enable employees to perform at their best.

Injuries while working with heavy items can present in several different ways in the workplace.  Are your employees required to pick up heavy items from ground level?  Or do they need to access heavy items from high shelving?  Must they manoeuvre heavy machinery or objects?

Each of these different lifting environments requires a different ergonomic protocol and range of movements to protect the spine, hip, shoulder and lower limb region

The Neutral Zone can identify the best protocol of your staff members and train them in specific movements tailored to their role.
